Massaranduba, also know as brazilian redwood, has a Janka hardness scale of 2890 which is more than 2 times the hardness of Red Oak. It has a fire rating of class A, the same given to steel and concrete. Its natural rot resistance makes it ideal for kitchens and basements and is sometimes used as exterior decking.
It comes in Pre-Finished or Un-finished 3/4" thick,  3" widths and random lengths from 1' to 7'.
